Altar Servers
Any child (boy or girl) who have received First Communion may become a server. Servers are required to serve on a roster basis.

Readers
Readers serve about once a month at the Mass they prefer to attend. Anyone can become a reader; all you need is a willingness to serve.  Initial coaching is provided to ensure audibility and clarity when reading. Readers serve on a roster basis.

Ushers
Ushers serve in an unobtrusive way doing all the little things like finding seats and extra chairs for parishioners, seeing that the infirm can get communion in their seats, collecting the offertory, guarding the church exits and being there for anyone in need. Ushers usually serve at the Mass they prefer to attend.

Liturgical Dancing
Dance is a medium of prayer and praise, as an expression of joy and reverence and as a mediator between God and humanity. When you dance you dance just to say thank you Lord for saving my soul, thank you Lord for making me whole, thank you Lord for giving to me, thy great salvation so full and free. God has and is all that we will ever need. We as dancers can uplift those that view our praise and worship movements. Our dance is so very important and must be used wisely. God can heal, God can deliver, God can heal the broken hearted. God can use you and I through dance. Continue to let God use you. Dance dance dance. All is welcome
Practice: Sundays at 11:15am to 12noon in the hall. Ages 5 - 105. All welcome!

Children’s Choir
The Children’s Choir encourages children (predominately in primary school) to participate in the ministry of song and praise at the Children’s Mass. Children are invited to play instruments and older youths operate the overhead. The choir is largely dependant on the parishioners at the Mass to participate in the singing and therefore invite families with young children to support this ministry. We are also looking for more musicians; any instrument welcome.
Practice: Informal, usually once a term
Mass: Sunday morning 10:00am

Mass: Sunday evening 6:00pm

SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT AND GROWTH

Catechism
Catechism classes are held during the week during school terms. Depending on the number of catechists, each Faith Level, for the Junior and Intermediate Levels, are divided into smaller Faith Level classes with the venue being on the Church Premises or at the home of the Catechists.
Children receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation in Faith Level 3 and the Sacrament of the Eucharist in Faith Level 4.
Candidates preparing for Confirmation have to complete a three and a half year course starting at the beginning Faith Level 8 and receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation in either the 2nd Term or early in the 3rd Term in Faith Level 11.
There is a great need for more catechists, especially male catechists to assist with the higher Faith Levels. Maybe God is calling you to this ministry.
